Softball Recap: Laytonville Comes Up Short

Laytonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 10-6 to the Tomales Braves. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Braves this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-8 loss on Monday.

Laytonville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Tomales, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Laytonville will challenge rival Potter Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tomales is set to face off against their familiar foe Willits at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
