Football Game Preview: Chatham Cavaliers vs. William Campbell Generals + How To Watch

The Chatham Cavaliers will square off against the William Campbell Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Chatham and 14 for William Campbell dating back to last season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Chatham and Altavista, and Altavista kept the tradition alive. The Cavaliers took a blow against the Colonels on Friday, falling 63-6. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when William Campbell and Dan River meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Generals came up short against the Wildcats, falling 42-16.

Chatham's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for William Campbell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
