Basketball Game Preview: Marquette Defenders vs. St. Mary's Hawks

Marquette is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Saturday. They came out on top against Don Bosco by a score of 65-53. Given the Defenders' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Dons are ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's earned a 57-49 win over Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center last Saturday.

Marquette's victory bumped their record up to 25-1. As for St. Mary's, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.
