Basketball Recap: John Marshall Takes a Loss

John Marshall lost against Wheeling Park back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The John Marshall Monarchs took a hard 56-37 fall against the Wheeling Park Patriots. The Monarchs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

John Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wheeling Park, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Marshall will face off against Preston at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for Wheeling Park, they will take on Steubenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
