Baseball Recap: Riverton Parke Takes a Loss

Riverton Parke and Rossville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Riverton Parke had to settle for second. They fell 3-0 to the Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2019.

Riverton Parke's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Rossville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Riverton Parke does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rossville, they will square off against Kouts at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs & Fillies' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
