Tyrone's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Central Dragons get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Tyrone's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 8-4. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Tyrone will square off against West Branch at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Eagles 3.2, the Warriors 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Central, they will take on Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
