Basketball Recap: Palisades Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Riley Andrew and Lincoln Cook

After soaring to 67 points the game before, Palisades was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost to the Salisbury Township Falcons at home by a 44-29 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lincoln Cook and Riley Andrew certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Cook posted six points and five boards, while Andrew earned five points.

Even though they lost, Palisades smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Salisbury Township, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Palisades will take on Kutztown at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Palisades is facing Kutztown at the right time seeing as Kutztown is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Salisbury Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
