Baseball Recap: Pittsford's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Pittsford was riding high fresh off their 14-2 takedown of Wayne last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the High Point Christian Academy Cougars by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pittsford fell to 2-1. As for High Point Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Pittsford will be playing in front of their home fans against Chilhowie at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Aquinas Institute at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
