Soccer Game Preview: Berrien vs. Georgia Christian

The Berrien Rebels will challenge the Georgia Christian Generals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berrien has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Georgia Christian will come in with five straight victories.

Berrien came up short against Jeff Davis on Friday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, Georgia Christian kept a clean sheet against First Preparatory Christian Academy on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Highlanders as they made off with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Georgia Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Berrien, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
