The Ringgold Rams will take on the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ringgold's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Albert Gallatin. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Colonials recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Anthony Koziel tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Ringgold is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 0-6 otherwise.
At the plate, Ringgold let Gavin Angotti and Andrew Sprinkle run wild. Angotti scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Sprinkle went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Sprinkle has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetri Lowe, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Ringgold always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Greensburg Salem ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Valley. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.
Greensburg Salem also got a great performance from Braedon Leatherman as he struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Leatherman has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Robert Visnick was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Peyton Chismar was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Greensburg Salem's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Ringgold, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Ringgold was able to grind out a solid win over Greensburg Salem in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, winning 6-1. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Golden Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
