Golden Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Saugus proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 62-51 win over the Golden Valley Grizzlies. The victory was familiar territory for the Centurions who have now won four games in a row.

Despite the loss, Golden Valley still got an impressive performance from Alex Villejo, who posted 15 points and three steals. What's more, Villejo also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Kenyen Andrews was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Saugus' win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Golden Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-10.

Saugus has already played their next match, a 93-45 victory against Castaic on the 5th. As for Golden Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-58 loss against Valencia on the 3rd.
