Football Game Preview: Tri-Center Trojans vs. Treynor Cardinals

Tri-Center and Treynor are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Center will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Tri-Center took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 71-0 victory over Red Oak. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Treynor got the win against Underwood on Friday by a conclusive 37-12. Considering the Cardinals have won four games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Treynor's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tri-Center, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Tri-Center didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Treynor in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 27-21 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
