Soccer Recap: Westchester Takes a Loss

Westchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Venice Gondoliers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in December of 2024.

Westchester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Venice, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westchester will venture away from home to square off against Palisades at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Venice, they will head out on the road to take on University at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Venice is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
