Softball Recap: East Central Comes Up Short

East Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laporte Wildcats.

Lily Ludwig made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Loew, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Laporte, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.

As of now, neither East Central nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
