Volleyball Preview: Hardin Hornets vs. Orangefield Bobcats
After both having extra time off, the Hardin Hornets and the Orangefield Bobcats will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Orangefield took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hardin, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Hardin made easy work of Kirbyville and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.
Meanwhile, Orangefield didn't have quite enough to beat Buna on Friday and fell 3-2.
Orangefield started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 18-25, 25-23, 26-24, 15-8.
Hardin's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. As for Orangefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-11.
