Soccer Game Preview: Sherman Oaks CES vs. Arleta

The Sherman Oaks CES Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Arleta Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sherman Oaks CES' last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Sherman Oaks CES' win against Fulton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Jaguars 2-1. The result kept Sherman Oaks CES happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 3, 2025.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arleta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Verdugo Hills a 2-0 shutout on Wednesday. Arleta haven't had any issues with Verdugo Hills recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Sherman Oaks CES' record is now 9-1-2. As for Arleta, their record now sits at 5-8-3.
