Soccer Game Preview: Providence vs. EF Academy

The Providence Pioneers will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the EF Academy Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.

Providence is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against de Toledo on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Valley Torah kept up with EF Academy until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Hawks never let the Wolfpack get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for EF Academy's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

With that draw, Providence's record moves to 0-1-1. As for EF Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Providence suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to EF Academy in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Pioneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
