Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson-Morgan). They breezed past the Mapletown Maples to the tune of 63-6 on Friday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Maples recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

A big part of Jefferson-Morgan's victory came down to the chemistry between Triton Farabee and his top target Deakyn Dehoet. Farabee threw for 162 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing while Dehoet gained 135 total yards and three touchdowns. Dehoet also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. Seth Fox also helped with two TDs in total.

Jefferson-Morgan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 218 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 199 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Jefferson-Morgan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Liam Rogers and Fox. Fox got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Jefferson-Morgan's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mapletown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
