Recap: Battle Creek Academy Tigers vs. Jackson Preparatory & Early College Falcons
After flying high against the Tekonsha Indians on Tuesday, the Battle Creek Academy Tigers came back down to earth. Battle Creek Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 33-32 to Jackson Preparatory & Early College. Battle Creek Academy has not had much luck with Jackson Preparatory & Early College recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Battle Creek Academy still got an impressive performance from Jordan Morey, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Thomson, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Royce Baltimore was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dwan Bradshaw , who scored 7 points.
Battle Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jackson Preparatory & Early College, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Battle Creek Academy will take on Will Carleton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Preparatory & Early College, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pansophia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
