Basketball Recap: Telesis Prep Takes a Loss

Telesis Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brighton Charter Tigers, falling 51-28.

Telesis Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Brighton Charter, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Telesis Prep will venture away from home to square off against New Way Learning Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Brighton Charter, they will challenge Wickenburg Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wickenburg Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Brighton Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
