Baseball Recap: Brazoswood Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Brazoswood's offense. They fell just short of the Dickinson Gators by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Buccaneers have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Brazoswood and nudges their season record down to 9-11. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Dickinson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Brazoswood has already played their next game (against Deer Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dickinson, they will head out to face off against Clear Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
