Basketball Recap: Frassati Catholic Comes Up Short

Frassati Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 61-39 to the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-13 back in January.

Madison Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, going 8 of 15 en route to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, Wilson is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Wilson, who posted seven points along with eight boards and five steals.

Frassati Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Frassati Catholic will head out to square off against Kelly Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they will face off against Cypress Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Prep Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
