Trenton can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Penney Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

Trenton's got stronger as the match went on, holding Penney to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Trenton to victory were Ty Bonnett and Lilly Golden. Bonnett had nine digs and two aces, while Golden had five aces. Those five aces gave Golden a new career-high. Peyton Curd also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Trenton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Trenton picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-12. As for Penney, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Trenton will face off against Maysville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Penney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lawson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
