Softball Recap: Beaufort Comes Up Short

Beaufort fell victim to Darlington and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 on Tuesday.

Beaufort saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caylin Adkins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Beaufort's record is now 12-11. As for Darlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Beaufort nor Darlington have any future games scheduled.
