Basketball Recap: Western International Wins Going Away Against Mumford

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pershing, Western International was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Mumford Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 49-35. The Cowboys have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Western International picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Mumford, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Western International will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Romulus at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Mumford, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-66 loss against Lincoln-King Academy on the 20th.
