Palm Beach Gardens unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 49-19 defeat at the hands of the Atlantic Eagles on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Coming up, Palm Beach Gardens will face off against Santaluces at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Atlantic, they will square off against Jonesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
