Basketball Recap: Cripple Creek-Victor Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Cripple Creek-Victor had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moffat Cowboys. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Despite the loss, Cripple Creek-Victor still got an impressive performance from Dylan Reyes, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Reyes, who put up 11 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moffat to victory, but perhaps none more so than Preston Heater, who earned 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Tulasi McBride, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 16 points and eight boards.

Cripple Creek-Victor has already played their next game, a 49-38 defeat against Cotopaxi on the 5th. As for Moffat, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hanover at 10:30 a.m. on the 13th.
