Basketball Game Preview: Fountain Valley Barons vs. Edison Chargers

The Fountain Valley Barons will head out to square off against the Edison Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fountain Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Edison likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Fountain Valley came up short against Los Alamitos and fell 74-65. The Barons haven't had much luck with the Griffins recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Edison also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Marina by a score of 64-57.

Fountain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Edison, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.

Fountain Valley came up short against Edison in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 61-54. Can Fountain Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
