On Friday Maddy Butler struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). The effort marked the fewest earned runs Butler has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with less than two walks. For the year, she has an ERA of 2.81 over 104.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Butler and Glenn will welcome Leander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Butler had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in March 9-4.
