Softball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City was the 6-3 winner over Reading when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers came up short against the Rangers on Tuesday, falling 11-5.

Union City has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Reading, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Union City has already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Mendon on the 14th. As for Reading, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-4 defeat against Lumen Christi Catholic on the 17th.
