Baseball Recap: Philip Barbour Finds Home Field Redemption Against Pendleton County

There's no place like home for Philip Barbour, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past the Pendleton County Wildcat 10-4 on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Colts considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Kent Rowan looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Kale Wolfe was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Tyler Sisson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Philip Barbour's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Pendleton County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
