Volleyball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taft Tigers.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Taft, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Springfield will venture away from home to square off against Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taft, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Newport on the 4th.
