Volleyball Recap: Wilkes Central Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Wilkes Central had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Caldwell Warriors. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Wilkes Central never let West Caldwell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-19.

West Caldwell is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Wilkes Central will challenge Hibriten at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Caldwell, they will take on Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
