Soccer Recap: Canyon Takes a Loss

Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Dumas Demons, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 587th, while the Demons are ranked 143rd).

Canyon now has a losing record at 3-4-3. As for Dumas, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon has already played their next game (against Borger), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dumas has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against West Plains.
