Baseball Recap: Hollister Haybalers vs. Carmel Padres

Hollister lost against Carmel back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hollister Haybalers took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carmel Padres. Hollister has not had much luck with Carmel recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

For Carmel's part, they got a great performance from Zander Lunt as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Justin LeMaster, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Iandoli, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Hollister's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Carmel, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
