Elk Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. The matchup between them and the Tioga Timberwolves didn't end well, with the Elk Creek Elks falling 67-49. One positive for the Elks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Elk Creek's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaleb Reagan, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards, and Dustin Holmes, who posted 14 points and eight boards. That was a full 49% of Elk Creek's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points.

Elk Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Elk Creek will take on Paradise Adventist Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tioga, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Elliot Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
