Softball Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Keene fell victim to Abbott and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Abbott Panthers, falling 15-0.

Keene saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amber Vaughan, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Vaughan hit this season.

Keene now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Abbott, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Coming up, Keene is taking a road trip to take on Life Oak Cliff at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Abbott, they will host Axtell at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th.
