Football Game Preview: Alma Airedales vs. Farmington Cardinals + How To Watch

The Alma Airedales are taking a road trip to take on the Farmington Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Alma gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They took down Pea Ridge 35-20. The Airedales haven't had any issues with the Blackhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alma to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samuel Schlegel, who rushed for 40 yards and three scores, and also picked up 163 receiving yards. That's the most receiving yards Schlegel has posted since back in October of 2024. Another signal caller making a difference was Jay Lemieux, who threw for 291 yards and one touchdown while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt.

Meanwhile, Farmington never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Clarksville 56-0. Considering the Cardinals have won four games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alma's record is now 4-5. As for Farmington, their record now sits at 7-2.

Alma couldn't quite get it done against Farmington in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 27-15. Can the Airedales avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
