Softball Recap: Teurlings Catholic Takes a Loss

Live Oak hit Teurlings Catholic with a eight-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rebels lost 12-3 to the Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 18-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Teurlings Catholic saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee Hebert, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Teurlings Catholic's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Live Oak, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Teurlings Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 12-8 win against Haughton on the 21st. As for Live Oak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-7 loss against Destrehan on the 23rd.
