It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but King George ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Caroline Cavaliers 8-7. The victory was nothing new for the Foxes as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Kelsea Minter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
