The Hubbard Jaguars lost against the Dawson Bulldogs last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hubbard took a hard 38-23 fall against Dawson. Hubbard has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dawson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lauren Hooks, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Laura Ruiz, who scored ten points.

Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Dawson, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Hubbard will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marlin at 12:15 p.m. on December 30th. Marlin will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
