Volleyball Recap: Peabody-Burns Comes Up Short

Peabody-Burns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Solomon Gorillas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gorillas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Peabody-Burns' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Solomon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7-2.

Peabody-Burns didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Wakefield on the 23rd. As for Solomon, they will take on Elyria Christian on Tuesday.
