Softball Recap: Bucktail Bucks vs. Montgomery Red Raiders
Bucktail managed to slip by Montgomery the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bucks came up short against the Red Raiders on Tuesday, falling 17-7. Eva Sockman was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
