Soccer Game Preview: Curtis vs. Sumner + How To Watch

The Curtis Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Sumner Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Curtis barely beat Bonney Lake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 4-1 win on Tuesday. Considering Curtis have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Sumner hasn't lost a match since September 16th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Graham-Kapowsin a 3-0 shutout. Sumner haven't had any issues with Graham-Kapowsin recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Curtis' win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Sumner, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-3.

Curtis came out on top in a nail-biter against Sumner in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
