Northside Falcons HomeSchool extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping their season record up to 29-1-2 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over HCYA. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Keith Hill looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kaleb Steiger was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Cullen Citso, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

As for HCYA, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-17. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but Northside Falcons HomeSchool's pitchers proved too tough.

On HCYA's side, they got a good showing from James Norman, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, HCYA saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyde Tracy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Northside Falcons HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-8 victory against Wake County HomeSchool on the 3rd. As for HCYA, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-6 defeat against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association on the 3rd.
