            Baseball Recap: Haverling Rams vs. Livonia Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Haverling extended their losing streak  to three  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 6-5 in the process. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Livonia Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  loss the Rams have suffered  since March 28, 2024.
As for Livonia, their win was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-3. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
 For Livonia's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Grant Francis, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run. Those  two  hits gave  Francis a new career-high.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haverling will venture away from home to  take on Le Roy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Livonia, they will face off against Wayland-Cohocton at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
