Basketball Recap: Doron Harris Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Warren Central

Lawrence Central lost to Warren Central back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lawrence Central Bears snuck past the Warren Central Warriors with a 59-54 victory.

Lawrence Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Doron Harris, who went 7 of 14 en route to 20 points. Harris' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nizyi Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Lawrence Central now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Warren Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Lawrence Central will face off against Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st. As for Warren Central, they and Zionsville will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
