Baseball Game Preview: Kennedy Crusaders vs. Farragut Admirals

The Kennedy Crusaders will challenge the Farragut Admirals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Kennedy nor Farragut posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Kennedy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They skirted past Leo 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since April 6, 2024.

Not much got past Christian Estreda, who gave up just six hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Leo off the board. Furthermore, Estreda didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Farragut fell victim to Chicago Hope Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to Chicago Hope Academy.

Kennedy's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.9 runs. As for Farragut, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Kennedy's way against Farragut in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Kennedy made off with a 10-0 victory. Does Kennedy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Farragut turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
