Hale Ray waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Waterford Lancers. This was payback for the Noises, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hale Ray had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

Reagan Bean paced Hale Ray's offense, picking up 19 kills. Bean got some help from Carinna Egan and her 17 assists.

Hale Ray's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Waterford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Hale Ray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cromwell on the 8th. As for Waterford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against East Lyme on the 6th.
