Sandburg entered their tilt with St. Charles East on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Fighting Saints by a score of 2-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fighting Saints, too.

Will Ashum paced Sandburg's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ashum got some help from Easton Donausky and his 26 assists. Ethan Cleofe controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sandburg's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for St. Charles East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Sandburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Metea Valley on the 17th. As for St. Charles East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Naperville Central on the 19th.
